Trophies of God's Grace

July 16, 2023

Key Scriptures

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalms 139:13-16

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.

  • How has JaJa's testimony encouraged you?
  • Do you have any trophies from sports or accomplishments? When you look at them, how does it make you feel?

Start thinking. Ask a question to get your group thinking.

  • What does it mean to be a trophy of God's Grace?
  • Read Hebrews 11. Point out where each person messed up in their walk with God. Now point out where God redeemed them.

Start sharing. Choose a question to create openness.

  • Do you have a testimony you would like to share?
  • Have you ever felt like you messed up so badly that you could never be made right with God? What Scriptures show you that isn't true?
  • How would your life be different without the grace of God?

Start praying. Be bold and pray with power.

Father God. Thank you for your never ending grace that you pour out abundantly on your children. Your grace is something we will never be able to comprehend. Thank you for JaJa and the weight of her testimony on so many who don't think they can come to you to lay down their sin. We pray we can share her testimony and give hope to so many. In Jesus name, Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • Share JaJa's testimony with someone this week.
  • Find Scriptures in the Bible that talk about God's Grace and meditate on them
