- The Hebrew word for adultery also refers to idolatrous worship. How is adultery and idolatrous worship similar?
- How does sin go from a simple thought to the act of adultery? How can you guard yourself against those thoughts? Does the Bible have anything to say about this?
- 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, “Flee from sexual immorality.” What does it mean to flee?

- How do you encourage someone who is playing with the sin of adultery or has even fallen into it?

Start praying. Be bold and pray with power.
- Father God, We want to thank you yet again for the 10 commandments that you gave us so long ago. If everyone would keep the 10 Commandments, we would have a beautiful world, but we sin and fall short daily and that’s when your grace comes in. You pick us up out of the muck and mire and set us on the rock. We repent from our sin. We flee from them. We run as fast as we can and ask you to give us good discernment. If we have any triggers for temptation, we pray you will show us how to escape and give us the strength. Lord, for those who have fallen into this specific sin of adultery or have played with it, we pray for forgiveness. We pray you will help us to mend relationships and restore reputations. Only by your grace and mercy, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen!
