Stand Alone Message

From Doubt to Faith

March 31, 2024

Key Scriptures

Acts 1:3-4 NLT: "During the forty days after he suffered and died, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked to them about the Kingdom of God."

1 Corinthians 15:3-9 NLT: "Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said."

Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.

  • Have you ever experienced a moment in your life that was so surprising and unbelievable that it took a while for you to accept it? Share that moment.

Start thinking. Ask a question to get your group thinking.

  • What does the resurrection of Jesus mean for us today, especially in a world that often seems filled with doubt and disbelief?

Start sharing. Choose a question to create openness.

  • Have you ever struggled with doubts about your faith, similar to Thomas? How did you overcome those doubts, or are you still working through them?

Start praying. Be bold and pray with power.

Heavenly Father, we stand in awe of Your power and grace, especially as we reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. We thank You for the assurance of our faith and the eyewitnesses who have passed down this good news through generations. Help us to overcome our doubts and to be bold in our faith, sharing Your love and truth with others. Strengthen us to not drift away but to stand firmly in the truth of the Gospel. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

This week, let's each commit to sharing our faith with at least one person. It could be as simple as sharing how your faith has helped you overcome a challenge or a moment when you felt God's presence in your life. Let's be mindful of the opportunities God places before us to testify to His goodness and the reality of the resurrection
